August marks 30 years of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers and this year, the company is welcoming the milestone with seven new store openings and some reopenings.

The company plans to open seven new restaurants, including two new markets in eastern North Carolina and southeastern Georgia. There are also plans to reopen four remodeled locations as well, according to a statement the chain sent to USA TODAY.

The restaurant said it is focusing on growth.

The chicken finger chain opened locations on June 16 in Pensacola, Florida and on July 21 in Albany, Georgia, reported the Pensacola News Journal and the Augusta Chronicle, both part of the USA TODAY Network. At the Albany, Georgia opening, the company did a "Lucky 20" drawing where 20 customers won free food for a year.
